I’m Jessica Clark, an independent travel advisor in Everett, Washington, just north of Seattle. This is a queer-owned practice designing journeys worldwide for individuals, couples and families. Ships, land, and frequently both inside one route.

HoneymoonsHow I check a place before a honeymoon, and the cities and islands I’d look at first.
FijiWhich resort fits who’s coming. Seven nights for two start at about $5,000, flights from Seattle or Portland included. The resort is room only, so meals are extra. Priced in October 2026.

The work
What I actually do
Journeys worldwide, for individuals, couples and families. Some are ships, some are entirely on land, and a good number are both inside one route, which is usually where the interesting version lives.
The practice was built for queer and allied travelers, and that mostly shows up as homework already done instead of questions anyone has to raise.
Before this I spent six years as a copywriter in technology. Not much of this job is writing. The reading transferred whole, though, and it’s the most useful thing I brought with me. I know what a brochure is doing, because writing them used to be my job. The brochure and the contract are two different documents.

The process
How the work runs
- 01 The call
Fifteen minutes. Just bring your hopes and dreams for the trip. It exists to answer one question, which is whether I’m the right person for what you have in mind.
- 02 If you go ahead
I tell you the planning fee on the call. If you go ahead, you sign my traveler agreement, pay the fee, and I send you a questionnaire about how you like to travel.
- 03 The design
What I build comes out of what you told me, not out of the version that only photographs well.

The practical part
What the extras are actually worth
Here’s what the programs I book through put on your reservation.
- Hotels. Breakfast daily. A spa, dining or resort credit. A room upgrade when one is available, and early or late hours where the property can do it.
- Ships. Onboard hosts and private welcome receptions on qualifying sailings, shore excursions arranged for the group rather than the ship, and shipboard credit where the sailing carries it.
- On land. Preferred rates through a network of tour operators.
- And a phone number that isn’t mine. If I’m ever unreachable, the agency behind me isn’t.

Clark & Co. Travel is an independent affiliate of Amaya Travel, which means everything I arrange is contracted through their agency while the practice itself stays mine. That’s why the address you write to ends in amaya-travel.com.
I own this. I do the design work. The person who answers is the person who did it.
